Job Description

We're looking for an experienced electrical engineer to join our Energy & Resources team. You'll be at the heart of renewable energy and substation projects across Canada. Working as part of our passionate electrical energy team, you'll benefit from expert advice and professional development opportunities. You'll occasionally work on job sites and with customers to put your skills into practice in the field. We offer a flexible hybrid work model, enabling you to work from home and from one of our offices. You can be based anywhere in the province of Quebec, preferably in the greater Montreal, Quebec City or Sherbrooke areas.

Primary Responsibilities

  1. Draw up plans and specifications for electrical installations
  2. Write and review technical advice reports and plans and specifications
  3. Design installations and technical specifications for equipment
  4. Electrical installation for substations
  5. Electrical installation for wind, solar and battery projects

Qualifications

  1. More than ten (10) years of experience
  2. Member of l'Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) or eligible for registration
  3. Experience in distribution system and substation design
  4. Fluency in spoken and written French
  5. Fluency in spoken and written English in a professional context in order to work on projects outside QC
  6. Ability to write clear, well-structured technical reports
  7. Demonstrates proactivity and seeks opportunities to better serve customers and optimize processes, aiming to deliver superior quality work.
  8. Valid Driver's License
