Architecture49 is seeking a Senior Landscape Architect to join our Ottawa office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Internal and external collaboration with Landscape Architects, Architects, Engineers, and Planners.
  2. Develop creative technical solutions and prepare visually compelling graphic presentations.
  3. Preparation and review of conceptual design, design development, and construction documents including details and specifications.
  4. Manage multiple projects, budgets, and effectively meet deadlines.
  5. Preparation and review of design briefs, cost estimates, and technical reports.
  6. Manage client and stakeholder expectations, consultant coordination, and approvals.
  7. Ensure project deliverables comply with local standards and contract requirements.
  8. Assist with contract administration and site inspections.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Professional Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program or equivalent.
  2. Minimum of 5 years experience working as a Landscape Architect.
  3. Member or Associate Member of OALA or eligibility for membership.
  4. Preference given to candidates with knowledge of BIM principles & workflows; REVIT software; AutoCAD software; Civil3D and Rhino; Adobe Creative Suite; and Microsoft 365 environment.
  5. Bilingual (English and French) would be considered an asset.
