We are currently seeking a Senior Surveyor in our Ontario, CA office. The Senior Surveyor will manage multiple survey crews and technicians, ensuring project success within schedule and budget, while maintaining IMEG's core values.

Key duties include:

• Serving as a technical specialist in land surveying concepts and methods
• Researching property information for project scopes, budgets, and schedules
• Overseeing billing and invoicing standards
• Assigning tasks to survey staff and reviewing research
• Mentoring survey technicians and staff
• Providing surveying services ethically and legally, minimizing liability
• Implementing surveying practices, methods, and equipment
• Ensuring compliance with regulations

Required skills and abilities:

• Ability to interpret engineering plans and communicate effectively
• Understanding of Caltrans formats, alignments, and field instructions
• Proficiency with CAD software and GPS surveying tools
• Knowledge of IMEG survey equipment and software
• Excellent communication skills with clients and contractors
• Willingness to travel; valid driver’s license

Education and experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s in Land Surveying preferred
• Professional Land Surveyor license
• Minimum 14 years of experience with a degree or 20 years of equivalent experience
• Valid driver’s license

This position is not eligible for sponsorship.

Salary range: $95,000 - $160,000, based on experience and skills. Benefits include health insurance, wellness programs, retirement plans, paid holidays, PTO, bonuses, and stock options.
