Job summary

Altasciences Company in Laval, QC seeks a Senior Analyst to perform bench work and rigorous documentation in alignment with SOPs. You will handle multiple assay types, develop or validate methods as assigned, and ensure data integrity.

The role requires meticulous attention to sample prep, data handling, and adherence to GLP/GCP where applicable. French and English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• College degree and/or University degree.
• Usually two years of experience as an Analyst II or equivalent is an asset.
• Good organizational skills.
• Attentive to details with respect to sample preparation procedures and raw data handling.
• Manual dexterity.
• Good communication (both written and verbal in French & English).

Responsibilities

• Perform bench work and documentation based on assignment to the laboratory.
• Be the technical assay expert in multiple assay types from sample preparation to data generation.
• Execute SOPs and ensure completeness and accuracy of documentation.
• Follow SOPs, GLP and GCP where applicable.
• Complete supplementary information forms for documentation.
• Stay up to date on new SOPs, procedures and techniques via training and meetings.
• Communicate potential problems impacting quality and discuss with line manager.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to Analysts I and II as needed.
• Respect Health and Safety standards and company guidelines.
