• Experience within Capital Markets and Risk a big plus.
• Over 7 Years of Java: Core java, Collections, Multi-threading, Exception Handling and concurrency.
• Over 4 years of Messaging: Solace or JMS, Spring: Dependency Injection only, design patterns.
• JVM performance tuning with tools like JMC, jconsole, jvisualvm, Java Flight Recorder or YourKit, understanding of GC and thread statistics.
• Build with Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, Github basic knowledge.
• Good to have scripting: Linux with basic file/log commands.
• Database: Basic SQL queries.
• Scheduling: Understanding of schedulers like Geneos or Ctrl-M.
• Non-Technical: Good communication, relay information effectively.
• Willingness to learn and tackle domain problems with analytical mindset.
