Job summary

Iris Software Inc. in Toronto invites a seasoned Java Full Stack Lead to design, develop and govern enterprise banking applications, leveraging Java, Spring Boot and Angular. You will lead hands-on development, drive architecture decisions, mentor offshore teams, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver robust financial services solutions.

Strong banking domain knowledge, REST, CI/CD, and cloud familiarity are required; hybrid work model in Toronto.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience with Java technologies.
• Lead technical discussions with onshore stakeholders, manage offshore team responsibilities and technical blockers.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Extensive experience with Angular (Angular 10+ preferred).
• Experience with RESTful APIs, Spring Security, JPA/Hibernate.
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns, coding standards, and best practices.
• Prior banking or financial services industry experience is mandatory.
