Job summary

Techso seeks a Senior Full Stack Java Developer to design and develop digital solutions for leading clients in Montreal and internationally. You will influence architectural decisions, mentor junior developers, and help improve development practices.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least six years of experience in Java development.
• Strong expertise in object-oriented Java development and Spring Boot.
• Solid experience in front-end development using React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and tools such as Hibernate.
• A good understanding of DevOps practices and continuous integration and deployment environments.
• Experience working in an Agile and collaborative environment.
• Good knowledge of Linux and Windows environments.
• The ability to communicate professionally in both French and English, as you will collaborate with colleagues and clients located in Quebec, across Canada, and internationally.
• Strong teamwork skills, autonomy, and a genuine desire to actively contribute to the solutions delivered.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new applications.
• Enhance existing solutions by adding new features and resolving issues.
• Analyze client requirements and contribute to solution architecture.
• Prepare technical and functional specifications.
• Estimate the effort required to deliver projects.
• Participate in production deployments and support change management activities.
• Ensure code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and development best practices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our Agile practices, continuous integration, and automated deployment processes.
• Participate in pre-sales activities, including effort estimation and the evaluation of new technologies.
• Share your expertise and mentor junior team members.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary Agile Scrum teams.
