Job summary

Astra-North Infoteck Inc. in Montreal, QC is seeking a Senior Java Full Stack Developer to design and implement scalable web apps. You will work with Java 17/21, Spring Boot, Angular, and microservices in a hybrid setup (3 days in office).

You will build REST APIs, manage databases like PostgreSQL and Neo4j, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, and related tools.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in Java full‑stack development.
• Proficient in Java 17/21, Spring Boot, Angular, REST APIs, and microservices.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and Neo4j databases.
• Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and containerized deployments.

Responsibilities

• Develop full‑stack applications using Java 17/21, Spring Boot, Angular, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs, microservices, Spring Security, JWT/OAuth2.
• Work with PostgreSQL and Neo4j databases.
• Develop, debug, and support distributed applications in Linux environments.
• Use Git/Gerrit, Maven/Gradle, GitLab/Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and Spinnaker.
• Implement monitoring and logging using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/EFK.
• Apply data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and software architecture.
• Support unit testing, test automation, CI/CD, troubleshooting, and Agile development.
