Job summary

Capgemini in Toronto, Canada is seeking an experienced software engineer to design and deliver full‑stack applications. You will work across front‑end and back‑end technologies, including Angular, Node.js, Java, Spring, and REST APIs, leveraging microservices and ORM frameworks.

You will collaborate with global teams, follow best practices, and contribute to a collaborative and inclusive culture while delivering high quality software throughout the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 6 to 8+ years of experience developing applications using front-end and back-end technologies such as Angular, Node.js, Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
• 6 to 8+ years of experience with front-end technologies including Angular, Node.js, HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSP.
• 6 to 8+ years of experience with back-end technologies including Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, REST API, SOAP, Microservices, and JUnit.
• Good experience with ORM frameworks such as Hibernate.
• Strong understanding of SCM systems such as GitHub and DevOps tools like Jenkins.
• Working experience or sound knowledge of PCF and OCP.
• Good working knowledge of databases including SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, and DB2.
• Experience with IDEs such as RAD, IntelliJ, and STS, along with web/application servers including WebSphere, Tomcat, Apache, and JBoss.
• Experience across the complete application development lifecycle.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop applications using both front-end and back-end technologies as listed (Angular, Node.js, Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, REST APIs).
• Work with front-end technologies including Angular, Node.js, HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSP.
• Develop back-end technologies including Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, REST API, SOAP, Microservices, and JUnit.
• Utilize ORM frameworks such as Hibernate.
• Leverage SCM tools like GitHub and DevOps tools like Jenkins.
• Have working knowledge of PCF and OCP.
