Job summary

Ping Identity in Canada is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable PingOne Authentication and SSO services. Qualifications

• Experience with OIDC/SAML/WS-Fed and SSO/federation integrations.
• Building scalable, high-performance cloud services in multi-tenant SaaS.
• Senior-level Java development with OO design and modern practices.
• UI development: ReactJS preferred.
• Designing microservices and REST APIs using Spring or similar.
• Strong technical judgment and architectural contribution.
• Excellent cross-team communication across a global org.
• Experience operating production SaaS, including on-call.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deliver features across PingOne Authentication and SSO services.
• Implement secure, reliable Java-based microservices and APIs for auth flows and integrations.
• Contribute to technical designs balancing product and reliability needs.
• Partner with Product, Architecture, UX, SRE, and engineering teams.
• Improve resilience, observability, and deploy safety for customer-facing services.
• Drive quality via testing, automation, code reviews, and maintainable code.
• Leverage AI-assisted development to accelerate discovery and delivery.
• Participate in on-call rotation and incident response.
