Job summary

Luxoft is recruiting a senior Java developer to build and own strategic reference data platforms for a global bank. You will oversee projects across the full SDLC, collaborate with global teams, and ensure scalable, high-performance solutions in a fast-paced environment.

The role demands 7+ years of Java experience, proficiency in Oracle SQL, REST, Kafka, and modern DevOps/tooling. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, with a degree in CS or equivalent.

Qualifications

• At least 7+ years of experience with Java.
• Experience with Java technologies: Core, JDBC, MT, Collections, I/O; Spring Boot.
• Experience with SQL/PL-SQL on Oracle DB.
• Experience with REST web services, Kafka, Redis.
• Unix commands and shell scripting; familiarity with data structures/algorithms.
• Experience with JIRA, Harness/uDeploy, SonarQube, TeamCity, Artifactory, Git (GHE & Bitbucket).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work across time zones and teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned development projects within the schedule, quality, and scope.
• Participate in all stages of SDLC within an agile Scrum environment.
• Partner with technology vendors and gain in-depth product knowledge.
• Enhance/architect existing components for performance and scalability.
• Provide Level 3 support for the application.
