Job summary

ThoughtStorm is seeking a Senior Software Developer to design, develop and maintain business-critical applications in a multi-platform environment. You will work across Windows Server and Red Hat Linux, integrating SQL Server, Oracle 19c and IBM DB2 with robust REST APIs and secure architectures.

The role involves collaborating with architects, QA, PMs and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions and oversee CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub.

Qualifications

• Experience developing business-critical applications.
• Translate technical specifications and business requirements into scalable solutions.
• Experience with Windows Server and Red Hat Linux.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server, Oracle 19c and IBM DB2; includes performance tuning and data integrity.
• CI/CD and application delivery using Azure DevOps and GitHub.
• Experience with Power Apps/low-code solutions and middleware.
• Design and implement REST API integrations and ensure security compliance.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, QA, PMs and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test and maintain business-critical applications.
• Work across a multi-platform environment (Windows Server and Red Hat Linux).
• Work with multiple databases (SQL Server, Oracle 19c, IBM DB2).
• Utilize Azure DevOps and GitHub for source control, CI/CD and delivery, following SDLC and Agile practices.
• Support Power Apps/low-code solutions and related middleware.
• Manage monitoring, incidents, and release management for large-scale apps.
• Design REST API integrations and ensure security standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate user stories into product improvements and document technical details.
