Job summary

TD Bank Group is seeking a seasoned software engineer to join the Global Regulatory Reporting team in Toronto. You will contribute to large-scale development with Java, Spring Boot, and modern front-end stacks while supporting regulatory reporting initiatives across the bank.

The role requires 6+ years in software engineering, 2-3 years of product management experience, and strong knowledge of risk and financial products. Agile experience and middleware familiarity are a plus.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in regulatory reporting and trade/transaction reporting.
• Strong understanding of risk and financial products is a plus.

Work Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada Hours: 37.5 Line of Business: Technology Solutions Pay Details: $102,200 - $125,000 CAD This role is eligible for a discretionary variable compensation award that considers business and individual performance. Job Description Summary

Working on a team of technical professionals to provide technical expertise in the Global Regulatory Reporting space. The ideal candidate would be a self-starting, motivated and high-performing individual who looks forward to being a strong contributor in a dynamic technology organization at a major bank.

• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Angular, React
• Working knowledge of SQL DB
• Working knowledge of building Java services
• 6+ years of experience as a software engineer working on large scale development projects
• 2 to 3 years product manager experience
• Strong understanding of risk and financial products is a plus
• Experience working with scalable and low latency systems
• Experience working on big data sets with bi-temporal support
• Working knowledge on middleware (Solace, IBM MQ, Apache Active MQ)
• Ability to engage and coordinate change across multiple groups
• EXPERIENCE AND / OR EDUCATION BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent work experience.
• Regulatory reporting, Trade and Transaction reporting
• Experience working in Agile
