Overview

SENIOR JAVA DEVELOPER – Location: Regina, SK - ONSITE

Duration: Contract 6-12 months + possible extension. ISM, a Kyndryl company, is seeking a Senior Java Developer for an onsite role on an ongoing client project. This individual will coordinate and administer the planning, budgeting, organizing, development, control and implementation of assigned projects and act as a consultant to other technical staff.

The position is responsible for various technical aspects of highly complex assigned projects and applications, including business analysis undertaken with customers. Work is usually performed without direction but is guided by project goals. The position is expected to exhibit original approaches to solve complex and often specialized system development problems.

The position is responsible for training and supervision of less experienced staff and for effective leadership of project teams and/or a recognized expert in Java & associated development disciplines. There would be a clear understanding of customer requirements, with the position designing and implementing solutions to meet customer needs. The position deals with customer and ISM management.
