Job summary

Future Electronics in Montreal is seeking a senior Java developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring Framework, and Hibernate. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver scalable solutions.

You will write optimized SQL queries, develop RESTful APIs, and mentor junior engineers while contributing to code reviews and best practices in OOP. Hybrid work model in Montreal with strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Java development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and Spring MVC.
• Hibernate ORM and data persistence expertise.
• Proficient in SQL with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Servlet-based web applications architecture understanding.
• Solid OO programming fundamentals.
• Familiarity with React.js is a plus.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/Engineering.
• Knowledge of SAP Commerce Cloud, Groovy, and Apache Solr is a plus.
• Experience with high-volume transactional websites is beneficial.

What are we looking for
