Job summary

Realign Llc in Toronto, ON is seeking an experienced Java Backend developer to design, build, and support enterprise-grade backend services. You will work with OpenShift, CI/CD pipelines, Oracle SQL, and AWS, delivering robust integrations and scalable solutions in a collaborative team.

The role requires hands-on Java expertise, strong SQL skills, and experience with modern dev tools and security practices, with onsite work 4 days per week.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional IT experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java backend development.
• Knowledge of OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).
• Experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Splunk for application monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Strong Oracle database and SQL query development experience.
• Experience with IntelliJ IDEA or VS Code.
• Familiarity with GitHub Copilot and modern development tools.
• Knowledge of HashiCorp Vault, SSO, and SCIM.
• Experience with AWS S3 storage.
• Understanding of MFT/SFTP and enterprise application integrations.
• Ability to work onsite with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support backend applications using Java.
• Work with OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) for deployment and management.
• Support CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Helios.
• Monitor and troubleshoot applications using Splunk.
• Develop and maintain applications using IntelliJ IDEA or VS Code.
• Utilize GitHub Copilot and modern developer productivity tools.
• Work with HashiCorp Vault, SSO, and SCIM integrations.
• Assist with AWS S3 storage and enterprise file transfer technologies (MFT/SFTP).
• Collaborate with multiple teams to resolve technical issues and optimize performance.
• Provide production support and troubleshoot database issues.
