Job summary

Intellibee seeks a Senior Java and Curam Developer in Raleigh, NC to design, develop and maintain NC FAST FNS components using Java, ReactJS, and Curam. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams on backlog changes, defects, and payment error reduction initiatives, contributing to automated evidence, QC alerts, and test cycles.

The role requires strong Curam and Java experience, plus ability to work with release teams and stakeholders in an agile environment to deliver reliable, scalable

Qualifications

• 7+ years in J2EE/XML/web apps development.
• Social enterprise management experience.
• Curam full life cycle requirements through testing.
• Experience with Curam Enterprise Framework and Solution Modules.
• Strong problem identification and issue resolution skills.
• Ability to translate technical concepts for varied audiences.
• Proficient with MS Office suite (Visio/Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• Builds relationships with customers and acts with urgency.
• Good organization and prioritization abilities.
• Technical knowledge in Eclipse, HTML, CSS, and Web Services (SOAP/WSDL).
• Oracle DB platforms experience; state government IT familiarity.
• Git/Bitbucket/JIRA proficiency; Curam Web Services exposure.
• AWS/Cloud development experience; Python programming knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide business and systems analysis, modeling, design and programming for NC FAST applications using Java, ReactJS and Curam.
• Design, develop and maintain code for FNS backlog changes and defects.
• Support FNS payment error reduction efforts, including evidence automation and QC alerts.
• Collaborate with NC FAST teams, stakeholders and agile team for testing and release activities.
• Coordinate source control and builds with release teams for FNS code.
• Develop underlying Curam rules for FNS and SNAP products and related batches.

Senior Java and Curam Developer, Raleigh, NC, US

Senior Java and Curam Developer

NC DHHS requires the services of a Senior Java and Curam developer to provide business and systems analysis, modeling, design and programming for NC FAST application development and maintenance operations using Java, ReactJS and Curam programming technologies. This role will work with the NC FAST Food Nutrition Services (FNS) team to design, develop and maintain the code for some of the enhancements based on the backlog of change requests from the business including help fix some of the defects from the backlog. This role will help support the FNS payment error rate reduction related efforts that includes evidence automations, Case approvals, Proactive QC alerts etc. This role will also work with other members of the application development team in FNS and other program areas to develop code based on the existing and new requirements, as well as the NC FAST business team in the FNS area, FNS stake holders and work with the agile team as well for testing the code for FNS. This role also will collaborate with the release team for source control and code build and release related activities for the FNS area of the code. This role needs strong working experience in Java and IBM Curam framework to understand, design and an develop the underlying rules for the FNS and SNAP products to develop and support batches for FNS payment error rate reduction efforts, Interfaces, and others.

• Ability to develop relationships/partnerships with customer by responding to needs and exhibiting a sense of urgency, independently identify options. Required 7 Years
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and follow complex and/or detailed technical procedures. Required 7 Years
• Techical knowledge in Eclipse, HTML, Cascading Style Sheets, and Web Services standards (SOAP and WSDL). Required 5 Years
• Experience with Oracle database platforms and tools. Highly desired 5 Years
• Experience with state government IT Functions. Highly desired 5 Years
• Experience using Git, Bitbucket and JIRA Desired 3 Years
• Experience with the Curam Web Services Desired 3 Years
• Experience in AWS or any Cloud Development Desired 3 Years
