Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic, talented senior IT technician to join the Innovation Networks team, supporting our clients. The role involves providing high-level client service, developing strong relationships with clients and staff, supporting users locally and remotely, maintaining system documentation, and contributing to IT projects. Candidates must be able to multitask, pay attention to detail, maintain professionalism, and adapt to a growing environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Complete trouble tickets, recommend infrastructure improvements, and communicate status updates to clients.
• Configure and troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking equipment.
• Support backup technologies and security infrastructure.
• Visit client sites as needed for issue resolution.
• Work flexible hours to meet client deadlines, primarily during 8 : 30 am to 5 pm PST.
• Provide excellent customer service and manage incidents and user accounts.
• Perform asset management, hardware maintenance, and track work hours.

Qualifications and Skills :

• Reliable vehicle and valid BC driver’s license.
• 2-3 years in IT Service and Support.
• At least two recognized certifications (A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft, Cisco).
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Microsoft environments, Office 365, Active Directory, Azure, Entra ID.
• Networking knowledge including routing, switching, firewalls, servers, and workstations.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with tact and confidentiality.

Additional Assets :

• Experience with Sophos, Fortinet, SonicWall, virtualization, RMM tools, and trouble ticket systems.
• Fluent in English; French skills are a bonus.
