The company's rapid growth has led to the opening of several key positions. We are seeking bright, motivated individuals to join our team of experts.

THE POSITION

You will bring deep hands-on expertise and a knack for optimizing our servers, cloud, and ERP platform. Your daily tasks will include monitoring internal and customer servers, managing OCI resources, and rolling out ERP updates. You thrive on variety, learn quickly, and bring proven ideas from past roles to improve existing procedures and introduce new innovations.

Reporting to the R&D Manager, you will collaborate with our Systems Administrator and Support team to scale the company and support our growing customer base.

Due to the nature of this role and customer updates, after-hours support may be required based on business needs.

This is a fully remote position with optional monthly or quarterly meetings at our Markham, ON office. Applicants must be located within North America.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Monitoring servers (internal and customer)
2. Diagnosing and resolving server issues
3. Creating and managing Oracle cloud instances
4. Creating and managing Oracle cloud VPN tunnels
5. Performing updates of our ERP application, SM3, on customer servers
6. Creating documentation for internal technical procedures
7. Providing technical assistance to our support team, including troubleshooting customer issues
8. Sharing knowledge with team members
9. Assessing current procedures and suggesting improvements
10. Driving automation of processes

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

1. College or university degree in an IT-related field, with 6+ years in production Linux/cloud operations
2. 2+ years of cloud experience (Oracle Cloud experience is a plus)
3. Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining RHEL 7 and 9 servers
4. Experience with Bash and Python scripting is advantageous
5. Ability to produce clear technical documentation
6. Collaborative mindset and enjoyment of knowledge sharing
7. Strong troubleshooting skills
8. Ability to work effectively in a small team
