We are looking to hire a Senior ERP System Specialist based out of our Calgary Corporate Office. The ERP System Specialist is responsible for managing, optimizing and expanding our core enterprise systems, with a primary focus on our current on-prem application GP Dynamics. This role involves configuring and maintaining the ERP system while bridging business requirements with system capabilities while supporting our growing technology ecosystem. The specialist works closely with the finance team and other departments to streamline processes, provide training, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, this position will provide general systems support of GP Dynamics and must understand SQL Database and the backend table structure
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage day-to-day ERP operations, configurations, and customizations.
- Manage integrations between GP Dynamics and auxiliary systems (eg. DocLink, Wennsoft, etc.).
- Conduct regular audits and reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
- Analyze current business processes and identify optimization opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system enhancements and workflow optimizations.
- Address and resolve technical issues related to the ERP system.
- Liaise with IT and software vendors for system updates and troubleshooting.
- Provide audit support.
- All other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
- Post-Secondary education in either Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Accounting, or Finance.
- Understanding of accounting principles and/or business practices.
- Experience in project management or process improvement methodologies.
- Experience handling high-priority issues as a self-motivated and independent worker.
- High proficiency in database management and data analysis tools.
- Proven experience with Microsoft GP Dynamics administration and configuration.
- Advanced knowledge of GP Dynamics tables and Wennsoft products.
- Technical knowledge of SQL Database administration and data manipulation.
- Knowledge of general accounting principles and internal control principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and dependability.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook.
