Robertson & Company Ltd. is seeking an IT - Software Developer V to join our client in Montreal. The role is a 12-month hybrid contract with a pay rate starting at 64 CAD per hour.

The candidate will contribute to complex engineering programs, develop new features, and ensure quality through testing and code reviews. Qualified applicants will have a post-secondary degree and strong Java/Spring Boot expertise, experience in Angular, REST/SOAP services, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, cloud

Formación

• Post secondary degree required.
• Strong Java/Spring Boot experience.
• Angular experience.
• Experience with REST and SOAP web services.
• Experience with agile delivery methodologies and tools (Confluence, JIRA).
• Experience with CI/CD tooling (Maven, Nexus, Jenkins).
• Experience with GIT (Stash) and Bitbucket.
• Relational DBMS proficiency (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2).
• Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS).
• Integration with vendor products and external teams.

Responsabilidades

• Develop new solutions for engineering programs and projects.
• Develop new features and perform unit tests for new app development aligned to business needs and standards.
• Support business enquiries through small enhancements and break/fix changes; may review peers' code.
• Collaborate with technology partners to ensure configurations meet requirements and performance goals.
• Analyze technical requirements to propose sound engineering solutions for own area.
• Ensure engineering solutions meet direction, requirements, performance and innovation goals.
• Monitor lifecycles to support business objectives and re-develop when needed.
• Document system components and architectures associated with a program or project.
• Participate in quality reviews to ensure designs and prototypes meet requirements.
• Create and maintain quality code; provide maintenance and post-production support.
• Provide technical expertise during incident management and communicate during outages.
• Identify and recommend development/testing tools to support objectives.
• Contribute to processes preventing issues and timely incident resolution.
