Job summary

CIBC is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Toronto to guide a group of project managers in delivering highly complex programs from initiation to closure. The role requires significant project delivery experience and expert knowledge of PM principles, standards, and business consulting.

Expect collaboration with business and technology partners and potential hybrid work arrangements. The Senior Project Manager will influence executive-level presentations, monitor milestones, and ensure delivery

Qualifications

5–10 years of experience in project management with delivery of complex programs.
Ability to analyze complex concepts and resolve project issues.
PMP designation is an asset.

Responsibilities

Define project goals, scope, resources, and costs. Develop and manage the project plan.
Coach and mentor teams; negotiate milestones and deliverables.
Identify risks and implement mitigation plans to keep on schedule and budget.
Communicate clearly to stakeholders and influence decisions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with business and technology partners.
Provide leadership and mentorship to colleagues as needed.
