The Toronto-Dominion Bank in Toronto, Ontario, is seeking a data governance professional to oversee enterprise customer master data initiatives.   • Facilitate data ownership across Canadian LOBs, connecting Segment Data Owners with the Enterprise customer master platform and ensuring the appropriate owners are engaged in decisions affecting their data.
  • Coordinate adherence of EDMO established data standards and definitions across LOB Data Owners to establish consistent business definitions, critical data elements, quality expectations, and usage requirements for customer master data.
  • Facilitate data quality governance, bringing material MDM data-quality issues, trends, and impacts to the appropriate LOB Data Owners for review, prioritization, decisions, and remediation.
  • Coordinate Data quality rule definitions, facilitating business review of data quality rules and results and data concern management.
  • Represent the Enterprise customer master perspective across LOBs, identifying cross-segment dependencies and driving alignment where customer data requirements or decisions span multiple businesses.
  • Facilitate downstream data consumption, connecting LOB Data Owners, MDM teams, and consumers to assess requirements, data-quality considerations, and impacts from changes to mastered customer information.
  • Drive governance forums and decision management, coordinating discussions, documenting decisions and actions, identifying accountable LOB owners, and tracking issues through resolution.
  • Promote consistent adoption of Enterprise customer master across Canada, partnering with Data Owners, Business, Technology, Governance, Risk, Operations, source systems, and downstream consumers to improve consistency and reduce fragmented customer-data practices.
