This is a one-year contract opportunity with the flexibility to work in a hybrid or fully remote arrangement.

As our Senior IT Consultant, you will play a critical leadership role in shaping and driving the company's technology vision. You will be responsible for designing and executing an enterprise-wide IT strategy that enables secure, efficient, and scalable operations across the organization.

This position requires a forward-thinking leader with a strong grasp of IT governance, digital transformation, infrastructure management, and cybersecurity. The Senior IT Consultant will ensure that all technology initiatives are aligned with the company's long-term business objectives, supporting innovation, operational excellence, and sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities :

1. Develop and execute the IT roadmap in alignment with business goals, ensuring IT initiatives drive operational efficiency and support corporate growth.
2. Drive innovation and digital transformation initiatives, including cloud computing, automation, and AI-driven analytics to improve decision-making.
3. Ensure IT policies and procedures align with regulatory, security, and industry best practices, including aviation-specific requirements.
4. Identify and implement emerging technologies that provide a competitive advantage in aircraft maintenance, operations, and logistics.
5. Provide strategic direction for IT budgeting, ensuring cost-effective technology investments that align with business objectives.
6. Establish and maintain key IT performance metrics to measure efficiency, security, and service delivery.
7. Oversee cybersecurity strategy, ensuring compliance with aviation, federal, and industry-specific regulations.
8. Implement risk management frameworks to protect digital assets, prevent cyber threats, and safeguard sensitive company and client data.
9. Develop and enforce IT security policies, data protection standards, and access control measures across all business functions.
10. Lead the organization’s incident response plan, ensuring timely identification, containment, and resolution of security breaches or cyberattacks.
11. Ensure the stability, scalability, and security of IT infrastructure, including networks, data centers, cloud environments, and enterprise applications.
12. Oversee IT service management (ITSM) frameworks, ensuring high-quality IT support and end-user experience.
13. Lead and mentor IT personnel, fostering a high-performing team culture that supports business needs and innovation.
14. Collaborate with internal departments to align IT solutions with business requirements, ensuring technology enhances productivity and compliance.
15. Manage vendor relationships, negotiating contracts to secure cost-effective, high-quality IT services and technology solutions.

Qualifications and Experience :

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a closely related field is required.
2. A master’s degree in business administration (MBA) or IT Management is a strong asset.
3. Industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, CISM, PMP, or ITIL are considered an advantage.
4. At least 15 years of progressive experience in senior IT leadership roles.
5. Deep expertise in IT governance, cybersecurity, and enterprise systems.
6. Demonstrated ability to lead with strategic vision and drive organizational growth.
7. Exceptional communication skills with a proven track record in stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
