Job summary

ATCO seeks a Senior IT Internal Auditor to strengthen technology risk, cybersecurity, and governance across the organization. You will lead audits and advisory engagements, assess controls, and provide practical insights to senior leaders.

Mentor junior staff, contribute to continuous improvement, and help develop internal audit programs while building trusted relationships across the company.

Qualifications

• Undergrad degree in IT, CS or cybersecurity.
• 7+ years in IT, cybersecurity or technology audits.
• Professional certifications: CISM, CISSP, CRISC, CISA or CIA.
• Knowledge of COBIT, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, COSO, IIA GIAs, 3 Lines of Defence.
• High ethical standards and integrity in practice.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT audit and advisory engagements across governance, cybersecurity, access and change management, operations, cloud, data, DR, and third‑party services.
• Manage all audit lifecycle phases: risk assessment, program development, testing, reporting, follow‑ups.
• Communicate findings and practical recommendations to auditee management and senior leaders.
• Assess management action plans and verify remediation through follow‑ups.
