What is the opportunity?

As a Senior IT Audit Manager in the Centralized Testing Group, you will lead a team that operates in a global resource model to support various internal audit engagements, regulatory engagements, risk monitoring efforts, and other operations within the Chief Audit Executive (CAE) Group. You will be involved in executing the CAE Group’s strategy by delivering high-quality, independent control testing for internal audit teams, ensuring operational efficiency and effectiveness. Building and maintaining strong partnerships across the CAE Group, you will work collaboratively with audit teams and other internal stakeholders to achieve these deliverables.

What is the opportunity?

As a Senior IT Audit Manager in the Centralized Testing Group, you will lead a team that operates in a global resource model to support various internal audit engagements, regulatory engagements, risk monitoring efforts, and other operations within the Chief Audit Executive (CAE) Group. You will be involved in executing on the CAE Group’s strategy by delivering high-quality, independent control testing for internal audit teams, ensuring operational efficiency and effectiveness. Building and maintaining strong partnerships across the CAE Group, you will work collaboratively with audit teams and other internal stakeholders to achieve these deliverables.

What will you do?
  • Oversee the execution of a variety of IT and other audit engagements across multiple platforms, ensuring audit work aligns with RBC methodology and timelines. Act as the first-level reviewer for all audit documentation drafted by the team to ensure quality standards are met. Review identified issues and escalate when necessary. Perform testing of higher risk/complexity controls.
  • Lead and manage a team of IT audit professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, coaching, and performance feedback to promote skill development, engagement, and career growth.
  • Manage the CTG team’s annual plan, including Service Level Agreements with stakeholders, balancing capacity, demand, and resources to meet objectives.
  • Implement the CTG strategy by contributing to the annual testing plan and monitoring progress against KPIs to meet key milestones.
  • Serve as the primary contact for Audit Leads during testing, addressing inquiries and resolving roadblocks.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve audit processes for greater efficiency and effectiveness, including post-engagement reviews.
What you need to succeed?
Must-have
  • Undergraduate degree (e.g., Commerce, Math, Engineering, Data Science)
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience with knowledge of IT and operational controls, risk management, compliance, and audit principles.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with team members and stakeholders to ensure project success.
Nice-to-have
  • CPA or equivalent accounting/audit designation, or willingness to obtain during employment.
  • Experience in financial institutions, external audit firms, or technology companies dealing with multiple platforms and geographies.
  • Proven team management skills with a focus on interpersonal and technical coaching.
