Job summary

Air Transat is seeking a seasoned IT Audit professional to lead and execute controls testing and risk-based IT audits under 52-109/ICFR. You will coordinate with external auditors, maintain control documentation, and drive remediation with stakeholders.

The role involves strengthening the IT control environment, partnering with IT and Finance, and leveraging data analytics (Power BI) to improve audit coverage and value. Fluency in French and English is required for Quebec operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Business Administration, Auditing, Risk Management, or a related field.
• 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in IT audit, internal controls, ITGCs, application controls, cybersecurity, or IT risk management.
• CISA certification strongly preferred; CPA, CIA, CRMA, CRISC, CISSP, CISM, or equivalents are assets.
• Knowledge of data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI); SAP experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and document IT audit activities related to the 52-109 / ICFR program, including IT general controls, application controls, and report controls.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the external auditor on IT control matters and coordinate requests and evidence collection.
• Maintain documentation of the IT control environment, including inventories, systems, interfaces, and control owners.
• Review SOC 1, SOC 2, ISAE 3402, and other assurance reports from service providers and determine follow-up actions.
• Identify, assess, and document IT control deficiencies and monitor remediation plans.
• Plan and perform risk-based IT operational internal audits in cybersecurity, access management, change management, IT operations, and critical applications.
• Collaborate with IT, Finance, Operations and external audit stakeholders to strengthen IT internal controls.
