Job summary

Apple's Creativity Apps team seeks a senior engineer to architect and build media management and collaboration features for Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, and iWork. You will help shape next-generation tools for creators and work with world-class teams.

You should have strong iOS/macOS development experience, cloud technologies, and a track record of delivering features end-to-end while mentoring teammates and promoting an inclusive, collaborative culture at Apple.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience shipping high-quality, tested code on iOS and/or macOS.
• Experience as a technical lead demonstrating strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills
• Strong understanding of architectural patterns commonly used in Apple platform development
• Solid grasp of computer science fundamentals and object-oriented design
• Proficiency in Swift and at least one UI framework (SwiftUI, UIKit, or AppKit)
• Demonstrated ability to work with ambiguity and take full ownership of product features
• Track record of mentoring others while remaining open to learning and asking for help
• Commitment to fostering an open and inclusive work environment

Responsibilities

• Architect and build media management and collaboration features for Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, and iWork
• Set the technical direction for new and innovative features in creative tools
• Partner with human interface designers, QA teams, and cross-functional partners throughout the full development lifecycle
• Drive features from concept through delivery, taking end-to-end ownership
• Mentor other engineers and foster a culture of learning, openness, and inclusion
• Contribute to project planning and influence decisions beyond code, including user interface direction
