About the role

As a Senior Investment & Personal Banking Specialist, you will be customer-centric and able to connect with people in a relatable way. As an essential member of the Canadian Banking Branch network, your focus is to provide exceptional service throughout the customer’s journey.

Key responsibilities include:
  1. Being passionate about financial sales and delivering trusted financial advice to customers.
  2. Providing a full range of customized financial solutions using a financial planning approach.
  3. Understanding customers’ financial goals and preferences, analyzing their needs, and recommending appropriate strategies and solutions.
  4. Focusing on complex solutions and comprehensive financial planning.
  5. Being results-driven and highly engaged.
  6. Demonstrating a collaborative approach with peers, customers, and partners.
  7. Building relationships to provide a great client experience and grow long-standing relationships with existing customers.
Required skills and qualifications:
  1. A minimum of two years of related experience selling investment and credit products.
  2. Demonstrated sales management experience and the ability to market Scotiabank.
  3. The ability to build strong relationships focused on providing a great client experience and growing relationships.
  4. A license to sell mutual funds and working towards the CIFP Diploma in Financial Planning (or Bank recognized equivalent).
