The Impact You’ll Drive

  • Strategic Financial Leadership: Provide CFO-level financial analysis and strategic guidance for $MM investment decisions, directly influencing fund capital allocation and portfolio strategy
  • Enterprise Value Creation: Lead financial performance optimization across 75+ portfolio companies, implementing best-in-class financial practices, governance frameworks, and value creation strategies
  • Financial Strategy & Analytics: Develop comprehensive financial intelligence, market analysis, and strategic insights that drive investment strategy and portfolio financial performance


Stakeholder Excellence & Communications Leadership

  • Chief Portfolio Storyteller: Craft compelling internal and external stakeholder communications showcasing performance, strategic outlook, and collaboration impact
  • Executive Relationship Management: Serve as key liaison with portfolio companies, institutional investors, and TELUS business partners
  • Strategic Insights Delivery: Present portfolio data, capital allocation strategies, and performance metrics to C-suite executives

Innovation & Technology Leadership

  • Digital Transformation: Lead implementation of cutting-edge finance tools and infrastructure across multiple funds and geographies
  • Process Excellence: Design scalable operational frameworks supporting rapid growth and global expansion
  • Data Analytics Mastery: Develop advanced portfolio monitoring, predictive analytics, and performance optimization capabilities


Financial Excellence & Governance

  • Portfolio Financial Management: Own finance, reporting, and governance including portfolio returns, cash requirements, budgets, and shareholdings
  • Value Creation Support: Leverage financial expertise to help portfolio companies scale and optimize operations
  • Metrics Development: Create and track key business metrics that positively influence ongoing investments and performance

Professional Excellence

  • 7-10 years progressive finance experience with 3 years in senior finance/accounting leadership

  • Advanced Credentials: MBA, CFA, or CPA designation(s)

Salary Range: $100,000-$150,000

Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 15%
