Ontario Medical Supply in Mississauga (Skymark) is seeking a Senior Inventory Manager to lead inventory strategy, planning, and governance across distribution centers. The role drives service levels, working capital optimization, and regulatory compliance for medical supplies and pharmaceutical portfolios.

The successful candidate will oversee demand planning, master data integrity, and KPI reporting while coaching a team to deliver measurable improvements in forecast accuracy and inventory

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in Inventory Management, Demand Planning, or Supply Chain.
• Experience managing multi-DC environments with broad SKU portfolios.
• Proven track record of improving forecast accuracy and reducing inventory risk.
• Strong leadership with collaborative, data-driven decision making.
• Expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics) and analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the multi-year inventory strategy aligned with growth plans and service levels.
• Establish enterprise inventory policies, governance routines, and escalation protocols across DCs.
• Own inventory segmentation, ABC classification, safety-stock methodology and replenishment settings.
• Identify inventory risks and opportunities, present options to senior leadership.
• Sponsor initiatives to improve inventory turns, cash utilization, and resilience.
• Provide ownership of inventory accuracy, cycle counting, and corrective action programs.
• Ensure controls for lot, serial, expiry, and regulatory requirements with Quality and Ops.
• Lead demand planning and inventory review cadence for all product categories.
• Develop scalable dashboards/reports using ERP/WMS, Excel, and Power BI.
• Coach inventory managers and analysts; establish accountability and performance standards.
