Expected Salary : $56215 to $84323

In this role you will :

  • Oversee and provide clear direction and guidance for the day-to-day operations of Inventory Control in support of both existing projects and new business opportunities (as required)
  • Lead in the development of Inventory Control Processes and Procedures and Work Instructions
  • Interface and maintain communication with all relevant stakeholders internal and external
  • Assist in the maintenance of all related documentation and Quality Assurance certification in accordance with applicable requirements
  • Assist with the management of supply chain risks as required
  • Contribute to the implementation of continuous improvement opportunities
  • Provide report generation in Babcocks inventory / enterprise control systems
  • Develop reporting staff; set clear objectives; manage performance; develop skills and competencies
  • Actively contribute to the occupational Health and Safety culture of Babcock Canada
  • Perform other duties as deemed necessary and reasonable to support the business

The ideal candidate brings :

  • You hold a High School Diploma or equivalent (College or University diploma an asset)
  • You have three (3) years experience in the last five (5) working in a Warehouse / Inventory Management environment
  • You have an understanding of risk management processes
  • You are proficient with MS Office applications (Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • You have proven communication skills both verbally and written and are able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • A professional Supply Chain Designation such as Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) through the AmericanProduction and Inventory Control Society (APICS) is considered an asset
  • You have experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems particularly Industrial and Financial Systems (IFS) and Defence Resource Management Information System (DRMIS) considered an asset
  • You must be flexible for work hours; the successful individual may be required to work early mornings late afternoons and on-call weekends
  • You are available for occasional travel both locally and across Canada
  • You will be eligible for Canadian NATO Secret Security ITAR and Controlled Goods Clearances
