Alabaster Homes
The Alabaster Group of Companies encompasses Alabaster Homes, our multi‑family rental, strata and multiplex division, and Pavilion Cowork, our shared office space division. While our core business is real estate development and shared office space, we pride ourselves on being a team of community builders. Our passion for our work is evident in everything we do. As we continue to grow as a company, we are looking for a dynamic interior design professional to join our team.
This is a one‑year contract position, with the possibility of extension. As a Senior Interior Designer, you will take on more responsibility in the development and execution of design projects, collaborating closely with the head of department. You will lead design initiatives, manage project documentation, and help ensure projects meet expectations, timelines, and budgets. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced designer looking to further grow their career in a collaborative, dynamic environment.
You are a highly experienced Senior Interior Designer who thrives at the intersection of design excellence, constructibility, and business strategy. You bring a strong point of view, balanced by practicality and collaboration, and you understand how thoughtful interior environments directly support how people work, connect and perform.
You are energized by creating spaces that are adaptable, brand‑driven and operationally efficient. You design with both end user and long‑term asset performance in mind, creating spaces that are visually compelling, durable and scalable across multiple locations. You are comfortable owning projects from early concept through construction and close‑out and you understand the realities of working within a real estate development company and being adept at aligning creative vision with budgets, schedules, codes and site conditions.
You are a confident communicator and mentor, able to lead design conversations with clients and guide junior designers with clarity and professionalism. You take pride in producing high‑quality documentation, anticipating issues before they arise, and contributing to a collaborative, solutions‑oriented team culture.
