Job summary

Studio JCI Inc. in North York, GTA, invites a Senior Interior Designer to lead interior concepts, modelling, and specifications for diverse projects.

You will coordinate tender drawings, client presentations, and ensure design continuity with architectural teams across interiors and exteriors. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Interior Design with 6–10 years’ experience, strong drawing-to-specs, and top-notch time management.

Responsibilities

• Working with the client and architectural teams to ensure design continuity between interior and exterior spaces
• Site visits to review installation of finishes

WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are looking for an ambitious and detail-oriented SENIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER to join our team. You are growth-minded & bring seasoned experience in conceptualizing interior spaces, and developing and executing drawings and specifications. You possess a superb attention to detail and are able to work as part of a team to deliver successful project execution. Applicants must be located in the GTA and be available to work in the office located in North York.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Developing suite layouts and residential amenity spaces
• Product research and selection of interior finishes

WHAT DO YOU NEED?

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field from a recognized institution
• 6 to 10 years professional experience
• Good understanding of the relationship between drawings and specifications
• Excellent time management skills for yourself and your team
• Ability to work well independently and collaboratively
• Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects
• Excellent visual and graphic presentation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Sketch Up, Autodesk software (AutoCAD & Revit), Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop & InDesign), 3D rendering software and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of Revu Bluebeam an asset.
