The Ideal Candidate

1. The ideal candidate has 6–10 years of experience in building and maintaining integrations and APIs, including RESTful, SOAP, and GraphQL, and possesses in-depth knowledge of EDI standards (e.g., X12, EDIFACT, AS2) and tools for data transformation.
2. Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automation, and knowledge of tools like Terraform, ARM, or Bicep, is critical for consistent deployments.
3. A solid understanding of event-driven architecture, microservices, and monitoring tools like Azure Monitor and Application Insights will ensure reliable and scalable solutions. Additionally, the candidate should have experience implementing security best practices, ensuring compliance with regulations like GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO.

Responsibilities

1. Integration Development:

• Design, build, and manage APIs to enable seamless data exchange between internal systems and third-party platforms.
• Leverage Azure API Management to ensure secure and scalable API operations.
• Develop hybrid integration solutions that connect on-premises systems with Azure for enhanced interoperability.

• Integrate existing technology stacks into Azure by utilizing services like Logic Apps, Service Bus, and Functions.
• Create hybrid architectures that enable smooth communication between legacy systems, third-party platforms, and Azure services.
• Ensure cost-effective, secure, and efficient integration of Azure resources.

• Collaborate with business teams to analyze requirements and develop automated workflows using Azure Logic Apps or Power Automate.
• Standardize and optimize workflow automation through reusable components and templates.

• Write efficient stored procedures, functions, and views to support application requirements.
• Troubleshoot and optimize database performance issues, including query tuning and indexing.
• Monitor database systems to ensure scalability, reliability, and high performance.

• Implement security best practices for APIs and integrations, including encryption and secure key management.
• Establish monitoring frameworks using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Sentinel to ensure system reliability.
• Create dashboards and reports to track system performance and security incidents.

• Set up CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments of APIs, integrations, workflows, and database updates.
• Automate testing and validation to improve system reliability and reduce manual intervention.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot integration and database issues.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and advocate for modern integration practices.
• Stay informed on emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement in integration and database solutions.

Soft Skills

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a proactive, collaborative mindset. They must be able to manage multiple tasks effectively while working independently under tight deadlines.
