Job summary

Slalom Build is seeking an experienced technologist to join our Global Systems Integration practice. You will collaborate with clients, assess existing systems, and lead the design of API‑driven, scalable integration solutions across cloud and on‑prem environments.

You’ll mentor a small team, drive workshops, and ensure secure, high‑quality deliverables aligned with client goals and timelines.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computing or related field.
10+ years in integration development, architecture and design.
Proven consulting experience with direct client work.
Experience with multiple integration platforms and API gateways.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with clients to understand their integration needs and requirements.
Assess existing systems and API portfolios to identify challenges and propose solutions.
Lead workshops with client stakeholders to gather requirements and present designs.
Create detailed integration and API architecture blueprints.
Design and build scalable, secure integration solutions.
Lead implementation of integration and API solutions using middleware and tools.
Provide technical direction to small teams and perform design/code reviews.
Oversee development, testing, and deployment of integration components.
Offer hands-on support and mentorship to client project teams.
