Job summary

Reliance Home Comfort is seeking a Senior Installer to professionally install HVAC systems in line with manufacturer specs and local codes. You will ensure safety and educate customers on maintenance while building lasting relationships and promoting additional products and services.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Domestic Gas Fitter B license.
• Class 5 Driver’s License.
• Willing to and able to work rotating shifts.
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to understand/learn new technologies (e.g., electronics).
• Willingness to wear company-provided uniform.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC equipment per manufacturer specifications and local codes.
• Ensure safe operation of new installations and instruct customers on care and maintenance.
• Build positive relationships with customers and promote other products/services.
• Adhere to all safety rules.
• Explain benefits of newer, highly efficient equipment.
• Maintain neat, clean, and safe company vehicle.
• Successfully obtain HVAC leads and enroll CPP to company targets.

What will you do?

• Learn and grow as an important part of a team that cares about Reliance and its customers.


• Professionally install HVAC equipment, accessory items, in accordance with manufacturer specifications and local codes.


• Ensure the safe operation of all new installations and correctly instruct customers on proper care, maintenance. –


• Responsible for being willing to learn and grow as part of a progressive customer service oriented team.


• Responsible for creating a positive relationship with customers; offering for sale other company products, services and demonstrating your ability to communicate, problem solve, to ensure customer satisfaction.


• Must adhere to all safety rules.


• Must never sell the customer a repair they do not need.


• Explain the benefits of newer highly efficient equipment to the customer.


• Must maintain company vehicle to neat clean and safe standard.


• Must successfully obtain HVAC leads and enroll CPP to company performance targets.

• Must meet Company requirements with respect to general qualifications and have completed a minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent.


• Must have Domestic Gas Fitter B license

• Must be physically capable of performing all work required of this position.


• Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both in written and verbal communications.
