Job summary

RBC in Bedford, Nova Scotia, is seeking an IT Environment Manager to oversee development, testing, and pre-production environments across enterprise applications. • Manage data feeds and ensure batch jobs run within expected timings, fine-tuning scheduling as needed.
• Produce, update, and review Run Books and Implementation Plans.
• Provide expertise around InfoSec/IT Security best practices and change management policies.
• Work to address security vulnerabilities and maintain proper server hygiene.

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled IT Environment Manager to join the Operational Risk & Controls IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the delivery environments for several enterprise applications. The IT Environment Manager will work to improve the software engineering processes and practices associated with continuously building, deploying, and updating software and environments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the development, testing and pre-production environments, to ensure the stability, security and consistency of the platforms. The Environment Manager will collaborate with developers, quality engineers, scrum masters and production support analysts to promote new application versions and implement system upgrades.

What will you do?
