Senior Infrastructure, Backup, and Cloud Administrator (Azure, Veeam)

Implement and optimize Veeam for backup, rapid recovery, and business continuity. Configure Microsoft servers, Azure, and security tools in an MSP environment. Manage virtualization, storage, and cloud infrastructure while ensuring diagnostics and system restoration. Collaborate on projects, document processes, resolve incidents, and mentor junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Implement and optimize the Veeam solution to ensure backup, rapid recovery, and business continuity in case of an incident.
• Install and configure infrastructure in an MSP environment, integrating Microsoft servers, Veeam for data protection, and Azure cloud services, while managing Active Directory, SQL, and security via Microsoft Defender and Entra ID.
• Administer and maintain physical and virtual environments by performing in-depth diagnostics (authentication, replication, DNS) and ensuring comprehensive backup and restoration of systems.
• Configure and manage Azure cloud infrastructure by deploying virtual machines, virtual networks, and load-balancing services, while optimizing costs, availability, automation, and security (via Azure Monitor, Azure Automation, RBAC, and Azure Policy).
• Manage virtualization with VMware and storage infrastructures (SAN, Fibre Channel) to ensure performance and quickly resolve connectivity issues.
• Collaborate with project and technical teams by writing technical documentation and Scopes of Work in both French and English, while ensuring field activity coordination and follow-ups.
• Handle critical incident resolution, stay up to date with emerging technologies, test new features in a lab environment, and share expertise with junior team members.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in a similar role.
• At least 5 years of experience in managed services (MSP).
• Strong experience in managing and optimizing complex infrastructures in an MSP environment.
• Expertise in Veeam, Microsoft, Azure, VMware, and storage solutions.
• Strong attention to detail, autonomy, and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English.
