Job Description

The role is a Senior Information Security Specialist for Application Resilience in the Operational Resilience Team. The successful candidate will support our mission of proactively identifying, managing, and mitigating technology resiliency risks. The candidate will lead our data resilience strategy, ensuring our applications are available, robust, adaptable, and prepared to handle disruptions. The candidate should possess deep technical leadership capabilities, domain specialization and expertise, and be able to lead, develop, influence, and implement solutions to address emerging business needs and strategies, as well as advance the overall design architecture and technology capabilities in accordance with industry developments. Role is influential to Senior Technology Leaders and provides governance to other technology groups and business areas.

Depth, Scope & Key Responsibilities

  • Recognized as an internal or external expert in specific domain(s); Spends most of their time on architectural, advisory, and technical issues. Remains current with industry trends and best practices.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive data resilience strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Oversee the architecture and implementation of resilient technology solutions including assessments and gap analyses.
  • Work closely with Cyber, Risk, Data, and IT teams to ensure cohesive resilience practices.
  • Provides consultative and strategic guidance to executive leadership.

Education, Experience & Skills

  • Strong academic background (e.g., computer science, engineering) bachelor's or graduate degree.
  • Or 7+ years relevant experience.
  • Proven leadership, influence, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of risk management and business continuity.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
