Senior Information Security Consultant (Tanium)

We are currently looking for a Senior Information Security Consultant with expertise in Tanium to join our client's team on an exciting 6-month project!

Join our client's Security Engineering team and become a vital part of their Information Security efforts. You'll be responsible for evaluating project security risks by analyzing requirement documents and architecture diagrams. We're seeking a proactive, collaborative, and innovative individual to design, build, and implement critical Information Security solutions. As a Senior Consultant Information Security Engineer, you'll conduct proof-of-concept and proof-of-technology exercises on new security offerings, and design and implement effective solutions. Responsibilities:

• Information Security Engineering – Designing and building integrated Information Security solutions that meet the needs of a large enterprise. Constantly evaluating our security posture and staying up to date with relevant industry perspectives.
• Endpoint Security Engineering - Maintaining and supporting Endpoint & Cloud security tools including Tanium.
• Leadership & Communication – Collaborate with senior leaders across the company and make informed recommendations to enhance information system security. Weigh business needs against security concerns and provide risk-based recommendations to improve information systems security, which are practical and achievable, thereby allowing the Lines of Business to make informed risk decisions.

Qualifications:

• You can demonstrate experience in a variety of Endpoint security products & Cloud-based security technologies such as Tanium. Experience with security agents management for troubleshooting and working knowledge of different endpoint protection technologies. Hands-on experience with the Core Tanium Module is essential; broad knowledge across other modules is a plus. Utility scripting using PowerShell, Python, etc., as well as efficient use of RegEx to run questions.
• You can demonstrate experience as an expert in Information Security Management, with a minimum of 5 years of experience as an Information Security Consultant or similar role.
• You have strong knowledge of security infrastructure & controls within heavily regulated environments with compliance frameworks and all related integrations associated with the services. You understand the processes, tools, techniques, and practices for ensuring consistency with standards related to accessing, altering, and securing organizational data with endpoint protections.
• You have a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
