Your new role

As a Senior Information Security Analyst, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the organization’s digital environment. You will be responsible for identifying, investigating, and resolving security events, conducting vulnerability assessments, and implementing robust security solutions. You’ll also contribute to the development of security standards, guidelines, and procedures to enhance the organization’s overall security posture.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing escalated security incidents in collaboration with Managed Security Services Providers (MSSPs).
• Monitoring logs and reports, interpreting security activity, and developing resolution plans.
• Conducting vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and supporting remediation efforts.
• Participating in the design and implementation of enterprise security architecture and solutions.
• Developing and maintaining security documentation including policies, standards, and procedures.
• Analyzing threat trends and compiling security metrics to inform mitigation strategies.
• Supporting business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
• Recommending and deploying new or enhanced security technologies.
• Maintaining secure configurations across IT systems and staying current with industry trends and threats.

What you'll need to succeed

• Post-secondary education in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in security systems management, incident response, vulnerability management, and cloud security operations (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong knowledge of security technologies such as endpoint protection, IDS/IPS, SIEM, firewalls, IAM, and patch management.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, and encryption protocols.
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Familiarity with CyberArk and identity access management platforms is an asset.
• CISSP or other relevant security certifications are considered an asset.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and participate in after-hours incident management when required.
