Senior Information Security Advisor

Your environment

The Vice President, Information Security continues to grow and needs your expertise and leadership.

Do you want to contribute to strategic and complex files, to evolve IS management within business sectors, to bring your IS expertise in the assessment of security posture in M&A files to support the growth of the organization, by working with seasoned experts in the IS field? This opportunity may be for you, as we are looking for a Senior IS Advisor to contribute to the various practices of the Office of the CISO.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the evolution of practices, their service offering, methodologies and tools supporting their execution, in collaboration with the IS leaders of the CISO's Office's practices;

  • Understand, analyze, document and support IS practice leaders in content preparation and executive support;

  • Formulate professional opinions, raise deviations and make pragmatic recommendations, all in accordance with the IS's framework documents;

  • Actively work with IS practice leaders to assist them in the handling of complex files and to ensure compliance in the handling of files. He must be able to understand the interrelationships between practices and to contribute to their evolution;

  • Tailor your message to the audience and make sure it is well understood by stakeholders. It must be able to clearly synthesize the most complex issues in order to achieve objectives and eliminate ambiguities;

  • Ensure coherence and harmonization of communication elements to support business objectives and delivery plans and demonstrate excellent political acumen in reaching consensus on solutions;

  • Support the evolution of the various artifacts associated with IS practices and services;

  • Ensure the maintenance of rigorous processes for updating various content;

  • Identify opportunities for improvement of the various structuring processes and artifacts and support their implementation;

  • Establish proximity with the leaders of IS practices, support them in order to promote the development of an inspired team;

  • Be on the lookout for and share new trends in IS;

  • Communicate the various upcoming changes to the leaders of the IS.

Your skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration or any other relevant training at the same level;

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in information security, including a minimum of seven (7) years in a strategic role in information security and IS governance;

  • Ability to work effectively independently and in a team;

  • Political acumen and ability to navigate the complex context of a large organization;

  • Organizational skills and ability to manage several projects simultaneously;

  • Excellent communicator, structured and technical communicator with a good sense of synthesis;

  • Team player and natural leader who fosters engagement, influences, brings people together and guides others;

  • Ability to operate effectively in an ever-changing organizational context

  • Ability to work and communicate with senior management and involve senior management

  • Expertise to make things easier for decision-makers

  • Ability to achieve and achieve results

  • Represent the values of high performance, teamwork, continuous learning and

  • Excellent knowledge of French, both oral and written
