Job summary

Alberta Blue Cross is seeking a Senior System Analyst to lead Identity Solutions, shaping design, delivery, and security across enterprise IAM services. The role partners with stakeholders to evaluate requirements and guide solution architecture while mentoring the team and ensuring reliability and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 15+ years IT experience with enterprise design, development, and support.
• Senior Java development experience.
• Senior PL/SQL development experience is a strong asset.
• Deep knowledge of identity, authentication, authorization, and access management.
• Familiarity with federation, SSO, MFA, RBAC, and identity governance.
• Experience with Oracle Identity technologies (OID, OAM, OAA).
• Ability to influence stakeholders and lead complex initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior leadership and Identity domain expertise for IAM services.
• Guide solution design, roadmaps, and enterprise standards alignment.
• Evaluate requirements, identify risks, and propose solutions.
• Design, implement, enhance, and support identity solutions.
• Mentor team members with knowledge sharing and guidance.
• Lead analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment of identity solutions.
• Support BAU operations, sustainment, and improvements.
• Lead incident resolution and root cause analysis for production issues.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and governance.
