Job summary

ThoughtStorm Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Developer to sustain and enhance critical police systems for a Public sector client in Canada. The role requires hands-on experience with IBM ACE, IIB, WebSphere MQ, and strong enterprise integration capabilities.

• Experience integrating enterprise systems using IBM ACE, IIB, WebSphere, and MQ.
• Strong knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs, with ESQL, JSON, XML, and XSLT.
• Proficient scripting and automation with PowerShell for deployment and support.
• Experience with Oracle, PL/SQL, SQL Server, and Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with Apache servers, proxy configurations, ArcGIS APIs, spatial data, and Java is a plus.

Job description

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to support the sustainment and enhancement of critical police systems for the Public sector client.

Strong hands-on experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), IBM Integration Bus (IIB), WebSphere Message Broker, and IBM MQ is mandatory.

Expertise in enterprise integration technologies, REST/SOAP APIs, ESQL, WCF, JSON, XML, and XSLT is essential.

Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell are required for application support and deployment.

Experience with Oracle, PL/SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, database queries, and Azure DevOps is highly desirable.

Additional experience with Apache servers, reverse/forward proxy configurations, ArcGIS APIs, spatial data, and Java is an asset.
