Job summary

Dillon Consulting Limited’s Physical Hydrogeology group seeks a Senior Hydrogeologist to join our team in any Dillon office in Canada. You will work with junior and intermediate hydrogeologists, environmental scientists, and clients to deliver hydrogeological assessments and remediation projects.

The role emphasizes design of investigations, development of remediation options, and coordination across teams, with opportunities for travel to other Dillon offices and to contribute to client growth.

Qualifications

• Degree in earth sciences or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Licensed to practice as Professional Engineer or Geoscientist in Ontario, or eligible within six months.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Work with and support junior and intermediate hydrogeologists and environmental scientists in carrying out hydrogeological assessments, landfill assessments, water budget assessments, construction dewatering assessments and permitting, environmental site assessments and remediation projects.
• Design and implement environmental investigations, remedial action plans and design of site remediation options.
• Collaborate with technical staff across the company and sub consultants to complete assignments.
• Develop and coordinate client relationships and support business growth in Ontario, including proposals and client management.
• Contribute to Dillon’s corporate profile through participation in professional associations and committees.
• Travel to other Dillon offices as needed.
