Job summary

A global design firm is seeking experienced Electrical Engineers to work on HV/EHV substation projects across North America. The successful candidate will conduct engineering studies, oversee detailed designs, and mentor junior engineers. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Systems and a minimum of 6 years of experience in detailed design for utilities is required. Knowledge of relevant software and field experience are valuable assets. This role offers a hybrid working model and comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Power Systems.
• Experience with PSSE, PSCAD, ETAP, CDEGS, WinIGS, MathCAD is an asset.
• Proven knowledge in Civil/Structural and P&C is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering studies such as power flow, short circuit, and grounding.
• Conduct detailed design of substations including layouts and specifications.
• Mentor and support junior Engineers.
