Job summary

A leading energy solutions provider is seeking a Senior Commissioning Technologist to commission and test power equipment in Alberta. The role entails mentoring junior staff and managing high-voltage equipment. Applicants must have a diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 4 years in field testing and commissioning. Qualifications

• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in Field Testing and Commissioning.
• Experience in substations required (ex. 600v to 500kV).
• Familiar with power transformers, high voltage switches, breakers, etc.

Responsibilities

• Commission and test primary and secondary power equipment in the field.
• Work safely alongside all members of the construction crew.
• Supervise, mentor and train junior technicians.
