Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is currently looking for a Sr. HR Generalist to join their growing team.

In this role, you will play a crucial role in aligning HR policies with business objectives and fostering a positive workplace culture. Your duties also extend to compliance with labor laws, employee development, recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, health and safety rules, and policies.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Contribute to the business strategy by helping business leaders identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes.
  • Build strong working relationships with leaders at all levels and ensure consistent, right people decisions.
  • Support talent management and development programs, including development and retention plans for top talent and/or critical roles, and performance management strategies.
  • Proactively identify, coach, and develop leaders in real time, including providing 360 assessment debriefs and development planning assistance.
  • Manage conflict and employee relations issues effectively, communicate as required in a timely manner, and evaluate and mitigate risks to the company.
  • Oversee the company's health and safety program, including training, inspections, record-keeping, and accident investigation.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
  • Assist with performance reviews, identify areas for improvement, and implement performance improvement plans when necessary.
  • Monitor progress toward achievement and identify potential risks to program launch, soliciting assistance to overcome obstacles.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Related post-secondary education and/or CHRP designation.
  • Minimum 3-7+ years of experience in an HR environment, ideally in a global manufacturing or engineering organization.
  • Project management experience with talent programs, ideally 3-5 years in a global, matrix work environment.
  • Collaborative, flexible, and adaptable mindset.
  • Passion for innovation and knowledge of progressive HR practices and key trends.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong team player.
  • Strong data analysis skills using Microsoft Excel.
  • Solid experience with Microsoft Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ADP.
