Job summary

MDA Space is seeking a Senior Manager, HRIS & People Analytics to lead HR data strategy and systems across our HR function. You will steer analytics, governance, and technology implementations to enable evidence-based decision-making and scalable HR operations.

The role requires expert knowledge of enterprise HR platforms and a strong ability to translate data into strategic action, with a focus on organizational health and attrition risk insights. A security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in HR systems and analytics.
• Proven experience leading HR digital transformation initiatives or HR system implementations.
• Strong background in people analytics and data storytelling.
• Experience with enterprise HR platforms (UKG, Workday).

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the multi-year HR systems strategy.
• Drive digital transformation across HR, including automation and self-service enablement.
• Lead HRIS new module implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
• Evaluate and introduce new technologies to enhance employee experience and HR efficiency.
• Build a mature people analytics function.
• Deliver insights on attrition risk and organizational health.
• Evolve people metrics and KPIs through dashboards.
• Ensure enterprise-wide HR data standards and governance frameworks.
• Support data architecture, including integrations between HR, finance, and business systems.
• Champion data quality and integrity initiatives.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team (HRIS, reporting, analytics).
• Upskill HR partners on data literacy and self-service analytics.
• Build a high-performance, insight-driven culture within HR.
• Manage external vendors and consulting partners.
• Act as a trusted advisor to HR and the business.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to influence talent and business strategies.
